Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Slate app and website, provided by Cloudy Tuesdays LLC ("we", "us"). By using Slate, you agree to them. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
Using Slate
Slate is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't misuse the app or our servers, for example by scraping data, overloading the service, or trying to get around Pro features.
Scores and schedules
Scores, schedules, season dates, and broadcast listings come from third-party sources and are provided for informational purposes only. They may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally wrong, and broadcast listings currently cover the United States only. Please don't rely on Slate for betting or other decisions where accuracy or timing matters.
Slate Pro subscriptions
- Slate Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Third-party services and referral links
Slate links to streaming services, broadcasters, and other third-party sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or terms. Some links are referral links, and Slate may earn a commission if you subscribe through them.
Trademarks
Team names, league names, logos, and broadcaster names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify them. Slate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, team, or broadcaster.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Slate is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, Slate. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Slate Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update Slate and these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the effective date and note it in the app's release notes. You can stop using Slate at any time by deleting the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
